She recently retired from a long and successful career in teaching High School History and Sociology. For over a decade she served as Vice Principal at several local Secondary Schools. Now, with more free time on her hands, Judie enjoys travelling with her husband and friends, reading and rollerblading. Besides assisting in writing and editing the series, Teach Your Children to Read Well, Judie is the author of another work of non-fiction entitled, What's in a Name? She is also an enthusiastic thespian. Last year she played the starring role in a one-act play for which she won the best actress award. She is the lead actress in the local theatre's opening play this season. At home Judie enjoys the companionship of her dog and three cats.
